Chairman’s Profile

Shri Prakash Shankar Velip, a legend not only in the field of Politics and Co-operation but also on the front of Social, Education, Agriculture, Cultural etc. was born on 5th September 1953 in a little village of Adne, Balli. He completed his pre-primary and primary education at Panzarkani, Cuncolim and Adne. In the year 1972, he passed his SSCE from Poona Board with First Class.  After completing his science graduation in the year 1976 in Smt.Parvatibai Chowgule College,Margao,he joined as Primary Teacher in Hutatma Rajanikant Kenkre Primary School, Cuncolim. From 1977 to 1980,he worked as Lab-Assistant in Shri Shantadurga Higher Secondary School, Bicholim.
The year 1980 proved to be a turning point in his life and he entered in Politics and Social work. He was elected as a Panch from Balli Village Panchayat from his own ward Adne. He passed his B.Ed in First class at NCRT of Bhopal University in the year 1983.

  • Renovated paikadev Devasthan-Nagve,Malkorne.

  • Member of the Legal Service Authority headed by Sr.Judge of High Court of Bombay, Goa Branch, Panaji.
